Supremely talented singer-songwriter who has no lack of musical ambition...the things he wants to accomplish on his songs keep me on my toes, to say the least.  And that leads to a pretty great recording experience!

not too sure how to explain this, so I say just check it out.

Matt Gilbert and I recorded three songs in August 2008 and will record some more this summer for his full-length, I hope.

I produced, engineered, and mixed, as well as played some keys (I think), arranged the strings (played as always by the talented Jen Mayer), arranged the backing vocals, shook things.

Matt was also known as "one of the hippies."

which I think he should be proud of.  I kind of am.
