Ludwig 1968 duco 14" x 14" Club Date floor tom
14" floor toms are just awesome. They record really punchy. This one sounds particularly awesome. I once heard that old jazz guys used to strip off the white paint that Ludwig used to put on the interior of their drums. Then they'd put a thin coat of clear lacquer on them. This one is a mahogany drum that's had that treatment (long before I got it). It sounds unbelievable. blue/grey finish.
